- physically destroy the hard drives utilizing our state-of-the-art hard drive shredder, or
- overwrite the data following the strict specifications of the Department of Defense (DOD 5220.22-M).

If your security needs do not require the severity of hard drive disposal, 2trg also offers hard drive recycling. This process involves the usage of overwrite software (meeting Department of Defense requirements) that electronically destroys the data on your hard drive while leaving the hard drive intact. This hard drive recycling process keeps your hardware out of landfills while providing the assurance that your data is removed.
